In addition to the Office of the Chief Diversity Officer, several other key offices are working to advance inclusive excellence at the University of Florida.
THE CENTER FOR INCLUSION AND MULTICULTURAL ENGAGEMENT (CIME) celebrates and empowers diverse students and advocates for a welcoming campus for all. CIME is housed in the Reitz Union and provides students with transformative educational experiences and development opportunities. CIME is home to the Campus Multi-Faith Cooperative, which connects students to spiritual resources.
THE OFFICE FOR ACCESSIBILITY AND GENDER EQUITY (OAGE) provides support to anyone affected by gender-based discrimination or violence. OAGE connects Gators to resources, responds to reports, conducts investigations, coordinates resolutions, and leads campus-wide violence prevention and Title IX efforts.
THE DISABILITY RESOURCE CENTER (DRC) supports students with disabilities. The DRC goes beyond access to remove barriers and engage with faculty and staff to promote an inclusive campus for all students.
THE RESPECT TEAM in the Division of Student Life provides those impacted by bias incidents the opportunity to be heard and supported. They provide services to witnesses, bystanders, targeted individuals, offenders, and members of the community, and work to educate the community on issues related to intolerance.
HUMAN RESOURCES provides resources to support inclusive excellence including the Gators Together series of faculty and staff courses and the Inclusive Hiring Hub.
